Fees

I offer a reduced rate of £25 for an initial assessment session, where you can ask any questions that you may have, with absolutely no obligation to continue further.

I work in private practice on either a long or short term basis.

Sessions are 1 hour. For one to one sessions I charge £50

I have a few spaces at a lower rate, specifically for those on a low income. Please ask if there are any available.

1 hour initial assessment session: £25

Thereafter

1 hour face to face, online or telephone: £50

How it works

Initial assessment session

The initial session is a chance to meet and talk about what brings you to counselling right now. If at the end of the first session you wish to continue, we can discuss how our time together will be organised. There is a small amount of paperwork to be completed, in which I will take some assessment details. If we agree to work together further, you will be required to sign the Agreement between counsellor and client form, which is agreeing on details of our meetings, including costs. The initial assessment session is a reduced fee of £25.

Cancelling a session

If either yourself or I have to cancel a session, at least 24 hours notice by email should be given. If you miss a session without giving 24 hours notice, the session fee will still apply. If I have to cancel a session, any credit will be carried forward.
